Cafe Coward

Welcome to Cafe Coward -- a dream of Noel Coward's that never happened in his lifetime.

 "Play, Orchestra, Play!"

We must have music to drive our fears away!

Senorita Nina, from Argentina (Tallulah Bankhead) and her mad gittarista (John Mills)

"Let's Do It!"

Yes, Cole Porter wrote the song, but it took Noel Coward to add:

"In Texas some of the men do it.
Others drill a hole and then do it."

"Don't put your daughter on the stage, Mrs. Worthington!"

"Matelot, Matelot, where you go my heart goes with you..."

Lynn Fontanne has got those "Twentieth Century Blues"

Three Legends (Elsa Maxwell, Lynn Fontanne and Bea Lillie) are "Mad About the Boy"

The "Men About Town" meet the "Ladies of the Town" for a bit of counterpoint -- and the Town is still talking about it!

Cafe Coward was so successful as Act II of the IOS Noel Coward double bill, that Hofstra Entertainment asked Lance and Bryan to expand it to a full length entertainment, presented at Hofstra University in the summer of 2007.
