A Gala Anniversary Event, celebrating 12 years of exciting theatrical innovation from Isle of Shoals!

Set sail with us as we revisit 8 dramatic musical montages of our most successful productions! You’ll thrill to the words and music of the world’s greatest songwriters, beginning with Stephen Foster -- America’s first -- through the magnificent songs of the Civil War and on through legendary Broadway composers like Jerry Herman, Charles Strouse, Gary Geld and the most versatile of them all, Noël Coward. Plus original works developed exclusively for Isle of Shoals.

Among the gems: Voices That Are Gone . . . The Stephen Foster Story, the songwriter's tragic life story set to his own music. Lighthouse, the ultimate Romantic Musical Adventure suggested by Ibsen’s classic Lady from the Sea. Blue Songs, Gray Songs, the Civil War chronicled with some of the most inspired, and inspiring, popular songs ever written. And modern works as well. American Nocturne, exposing power, politics and passion on the campaign trail. Occupation: Dragonslayer, a poignant fable of 9/11, written and presented one year later, when the wounds and the feelings were raw. And of course musical moments from both the NYC and LI productions of Café Coward, our hugely successful 1930s cabaret tribute to the words and music of Noël Coward. And many more surprises, in a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience not to be missed! So come celebrate with us!
